Yesterday was nice. I had sketchers with my favourite people . I’d like to add ; it is not often that people remember their birthday cakes but i do. I remembered the one i had on my 16th .The Royal chocolate one from Intercontinental. I wanted mum to get it for me this year since i never got down to deciding which birthday cake i wanted for the past 3 years and Benedict never got me cake for that good number of years. And i guess that’s why we’re best of friends . It’s when they remember the little things and are casual about the bigger things. So anyway, back to the cake, i reckon i should settle for second best. And yesterday was nice because he got me a cake from intercon! Well the bad news was : It wasn’t royal chocolate.

Which made me a very sad and happy girl all at once.

But still, i thank you. (:

I am so tired. Physically and mentally. But i cannot even buy time to sleep. I cannot afford to because i have a dateline. And it is tomorrow. It is THE dateline. The one that affects your final grading. The one that holds the key to your escape. That’s why it is called the final year presentation.

Final = Finale = Fin = Graduation.

Anyway, a few days ago,I gave Darren almost all of the leather bands that i bought from Bangkok. Even the ones that i love the most. Well i did it because i love him. I love him for loving me and for giving me the best birthday. No you will think it is just another typical way of thanking someone for having thrown you a surprise birthday party. But you have no idea how spectacularly happy this boy has made me . Happy like mad euphoric kind of happy. The kind that leaves you speechless for days and then when you finally curl yourself up in a ball on the last night before your final presentation is due, you realize that dreams actually do come true even when times are hard.

Time. An enemy to most but ever so often withstanding the pressure from the world . The laws and people abide to its calling every second . But if i were time , i would be weak. I would fall on bended knees and see the world crumble below my feet. I have only the strength to watch it all pass me by . The sun would set when you hear the chirping of the birds and lovers shall never be able to watch the sunrise. I will allow no one else to experience what i had with you . Like back in the autumn days when we’d watch the leaves fall and we’d cry out in joy over the littlest surprises set for each other every christmas. Love was apparently the only thing we ever lived for but on the last day of winter ,you ended it all with the sound of silence.

You gave me no clue to the start of my misery and you chose the path to walk away. I thought it was the cold that ate into you but how could love grow weak in such a short time. Then i realised the only thing that ever kept you with me was fear. You thought fear would always make me yours. But i guess you turned this brutal reality right at me . If only i had never gave my heart out so freely then perhaps i would have known how else to make you stay.

I am tiring myself out from this thing called school. Approximately 2 months to the end of the final semester and 4 months to graduation.

wow. I cannot believe it.

Vacations to anywhere in the world has been the last on my mind. Birthday week cannot get any less significant with the amount of work. One word for the latter; insurmountable. Well, technically i will have to get it done so it shall be surmountable in due time but for now, insurmountable stays. I have yet to get my hands on something concrete as a weekend past time ever since i last got bored of being excited with drinking and dancing. Till last month at least. It just had to be poker poker and more poker. Isn’t it lovely? You win some you lose some. Along the way the lessons of life suddenly becomes more clear to you. Not to be too greedy when you’re on a winning hand. Learn to fold. Learn to call on good hands ( In life context, it would be labeled as opportunities). Poker is amazing.

Now, i have to go to the Museum for a class. How irrelevant.
